Zombies , the most frightful creatures there are
.. aren't they?
Who wants to see his grandmother coming to life and
mindlessly trying to murder you in sleep; not because she doesn't likes you but
because she's hungry ,very hungry , fuck no, she won't eat cereals instead ..
those funny grandmas and bad habits.
I was full of notion to rewatch them old goodies and on my
way ma silly self grabbed Dawn of the Dead , a cult following horror
pre-post-apocalyptic el-horror flick by the critically acclaimed George Edgar
Romero (don't know if he's Edger but name sounds better that way).
The feature begins the day after Night of the (Living) Dead
or maybe alil' later, whenever it begins it sure begins and ends .. panic in the
streets people raged unknowingly if they're mislead by their government , the
press plays it's usual games and monkeys escape zoos treating society.
As the Premise goes and Wouldn't go for spoilers here
but more of an urge to unravel a secret , the movie begins with around five main
characters and ends with less.
Anyone who can't guess what this flick's about should serve
their nation , although I believe I enjoyed it more than Night of the Dead it
didn't have the claustrophobic feeling to it and wasn't as believable and
tensed.
Many great parts into it and it doesn't gets too cheezy , the
talk shows and news reports in this one are incredibly funny and will be
probably very close to the true ones which'll accure when I release Patient Zero
(cow) into streets, but the press is very stupid nowdays relating it to the late
70s.
Lots of ammo in this one the quantity of and extra is very
appealing and the make up improved over the previous , they could tune the gamma
of the blood tho.
In some parts toward the end I could find Romero's motivation
for the making of Knightriders ,
shame his script for Resident Evil wasn't accepted,
Monkey Shines
trailer I seen when was more lil' than am now still haunts me.
